Information and Communications and Technology in Education

How Information and Communications and Technology (ICT) has transformed the educational methodologies when you were in grade school and now in Senior High School

Education, like nearly any other part of life nowadays, has been affected by technology.

Technology has had a huge influence on education in many aspects. For one, access to education has been significantly improved by technology. Books were uncommon in medieval times, and only a select few had access to educational resources. Individuals have had to drive to study centres to get an education. Significant volumes of knowledge (books, audio, pictures, and videos) are now accessible at one's fingertips via the Internet, and structured learning opportunities are available internationally. Thanks to technology, access to learning opportunities today is unique in scale.

Technology has also improved connectivity and cooperation possibilities. Classrooms have historically been largely segregated, and other students in the same classroom or building have been restricted to cooperation. Today, technology makes ways of contact and teamwork that have not been dreamed of in the past. Students can discuss what they are studying with students who tracking the same expedition in other classrooms in other nations. Students may use technology-based platforms like wikis and Google Docs to work on community assignments. Classroom walls are no longer an obstacle, since technology makes for new ways of learning, communicating, and interacting.

ICT is used in different ways as an effective teaching aid for providing professional lectures around the world. In certain cases, for example, a realistic analogy paired with analytical specifics makes it simple for students to comprehend the subject. ICT methods such as animation make it possible for the faculty to construct animations using easy-to-use software. There are several videos and animations that can be used to teach learning now available on the internet. Furthermore, in institutional LMS, the lecture notes produced in PowerPoint can easily be imported and referred to as and when needed by the students. The processes of the laboratory can be captured as videos and submitted to the institutional LMS. Those videos can be used by students to study for the test. The entire lecture, along with PowerPoint, images and other objects used in the lecture, can be collected by advanced systems such as the Lecture Capturing Device and can be submitted directly to the institutional LMS so that students can link to it later.

Technology is a versatile instrument that can promote and improve education, from making it easier for teachers to produce teaching resources to empowering people to learn and work together in new ways. A modern era is dawning with the global expansion of the Internet and the ubiquity of mobile devices that can connect to it, a new age of education everywhere at any moment. It would be up to instructional designers and educational technology to take advantage of the technical possibilities to improve education so that productive and productive curriculum is open to all, anywhere.

  1. Most loan seekers have to borrow money in order to purchase their home or finance their business.
